Josh Tongue Injury Clouds England’s First Test Plans
England suffers a major setback ahead of the first Test against India, as they might lose their frontline pacer Josh Tongue due to an undisclosed injury. He was selected in the squad for the first Test, replacing Gus Atkinson, who had suffered a hamstring injury in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe.

Josh Tongue, the recent fast-bowling sensation, has been in the spotlight for quite some time since his debut. As reported earlier, England had planned to field Chris Woakes, Brydon Carse, and Josh Tongue as their frontline pacers, with support from Ben Stokes. Now, Sam Cook is the frontrunner to replace Josh Tongue if he is ruled out.
