Watch - Rishabh Pant's Dismissal Against SRH
Pant once again found himself getting dismissed in an unlucky fashion as he chipped one straight to Ehsan Maliga. The southpaw has disappointed time and again this series, getting out in weird fashion.
After his knock against SRH, Rishabh Pant has now scored just 135 runs from 12 games at an average of 12.27 and a strike rate of just 100. He has a best score of 63 runs in the season and has hit 12 fours and just six sixes. This remains his worst season in the IPL since he made his debut in IPL 2018, where he scored 198 runs in 10 matches.
The reaction of LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka after Pant's dismissal against SRH went viral on social media. He was seen stepping away from the gallery in sheer disappointment after the LSG skipper was dismissed. Goenka had a few animated interactions with Pant previously after LSG lost a series of games earlier this season. Notably, LSG invested 27 crores to rope Pant in the IPL 2025 auction, making him the most expensive player of the IPL ever.
