Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is reportedly in Londoon at the moment, has hosted a few of the Indian players at his house ahead of the first Test against England starting from June 20.

The first starts in just a couple of day's time and Kohli decided to have this special gesture for the Indian players. He retired from Test cricket last month just ahead of the England tour which came in as a big surprise.

Virat Kohli announced his Test retirement on May 12 just five days after Rohit Sharma announced his Test retirement on May 7. Two spots are up for grabs at the moment in the Indian Test side.

Virat Kohli Hosts Indian Players in London

Meanwhile, sources in Rev Sportz has confirmed that Virat Kohli invited some of the Indian players to his London estate ahead of the big Test series. It is important to mention here that Kohli recently won his maiden IPL title with RCB defeating Punjab Kings in the final led by Shreyas Iyer.

Among the ones invited by Virat to his house was Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Siraj and a few others. Gill was named the new Test skipper while Pant was announced his deputy. There are also reports that Kohli might be there at the venue for one or two Test matches in London.

India Fully Prepared For England Test Series

Meanwhile, the Test series kicks off a brand new WTC cycle for both teams. India failed to make it to the WTC 2025 final as they lost to New Zealand and Australia in back to back Test series leading them to be eliminated from the tournament. South Africa finally won the title this year beating the Aussies in the final.

The Indian players have had time to get adjusted to the conditions in England as they played an unofficial Test match against England Lions and an intra-squad match as well.
