Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal has been booked in a fresh case of rape. The latest FIR was filed at the Sanganer police station in Jaipur, where the complainant, a young woman, has accused Dayal of sexually assaulting her repeatedly over two years, starting when she was 17.
According to the police complaint, the woman came in contact with Dayal two years ago. It was during this meeting, she claims, that the first instance of sexual assault took place. The woman alleged that Dayal manipulated her emotionally and physically. He used career guidance to gain her trust.
With the first alleged assault taking place when the complainant was a minor, police have booked Yash Dayal under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Jaipur police confirmed the registration of the FIR and said the case is being investigated with seriousness.

Yash Dayal Booked Under POCSO Act Following Complaint from Minor
The complainant alleged that Dayal invited her to a hotel in Sitapura during Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) under the guise of providing cricketing career advice and raped her again.
She alleged that Dayal used his status as a professional cricketer and promised her career support.
She said, this trust was exploited, leading to multiple instances of sexual assault. She ultimately filed the report on July 23.
Dayal is yet to issue a statement on this.
Earlier FIR Registered Against Yash Dayal in Ghaziabad This Year
This is not the first time Dayal has been accused of sexual misconduct. Another woman from Ghaziabad filed a complaint at the Indirapuram police station, accusing him of sexual harassment and exploitation.
According to that FIR, the complainant claimed to have been in a five-year relationship with Dayal, during which he allegedly made false promises of marriage and introduced her to his family, only to later withdraw and become abusive.
She alleged that Dayal mentally, physically and financially exploited her over the course of the relationship.
In response, Dayal filed a counter-complaint via his lawyer in Prayagraj. He denied the allegations, claiming that the woman was blackmailing him. According to Dayal, their connection began on Instagram and was consensual. He also alleged that she began to threaten and coerce him into marrying her.
Subsequently, the Allahabad High Court stayed his arrest in the case.
